Explore new media and processes in these summer intensive art classes open to students in grades 9-12.  Classes run Monday through Friday and can be taken as a full day or half day class.  Full days run from 9:00am-3:30pm and inlcude a 30 minute lunch break (students will need to bring a packed lunch each day).  Half day morning classes are 9:00-12:00 and afternoon classes are 12:30-3:30pm. 
 
Cost:
Full Day Classes (Week-long) are $185 for Members or $260 for Non-Members.
Half Day Classes (Week-long) are $95 for Members or $130 for Non-Members.  
Pricing includes all materials.

Before and after care available from 8:00am-5:30pm. Cost: $150 per week for both before & after care, $50 per week for before care only or $100 per week for after care only. 

Students are encouraged to align with the camp/class of their rising grade.  Parents are required to complete an emergency medical form.  Full day students should bring an insulated sack lunch, beverages, and snacks every day.  Each week, camps will culminate in a Friday Art Party, where students will share the artwork they have created throughout the week.  Friends and family are invited to bring a snack to share and enjoy the artwork from 3:00-3:30pm.

Classes are capped at between 12 to 18 students per class. It is recommended that you register via our website or by phone several weeks prior to the class start date. Once the classes are full, we will remove the ability to register for them on our website. Cancellations: Prior to 14 days before camp, registration fee will be refunded less a $50 processing fee. Less than 14 days before camp, registration is non-refundable.

Summer Camp Before & After Care

What:  Summer Camp Before & After Care
Before care is offered from 8:00am-9:00am and after care from 3:30pm-5:30pm.  Students will have creative activities, games and drawing to keep them busy.  Offered at a weekly rate of $150.  Can also be pro-rated at $50 for a full week of morning care only or $100 for afternoon care only.

Interested in applying for a scholarship?  Thanks to the Virginia Kettering Foundation, K12 has some scholarships for students based on merit and financial need.  If you are interested in applying, please fill out the scholarship application and bring your child to one of the two scholarship info sessions: Saturday, May 5 from 1:30-2:30 or Wednesday, May 9 from 5:00-6:00pm.  Students will draw for 30 minutes from a still life so we can gauge their interest/abilility level while parents/guardians can ask questions and fill out paperwork.  The Scholarship application can be found here: Summer Scholarship Application.
