Darkroom Photography & Stop Motion Animation

AM Class: Alternative Process Photography  Combine science, experimention and art in this series of classes that will teach students alternative photography proecesses.  Alternative processes are non-traditional printing processes such as cyanotypes, lumen prints and chemigrams.  These often involve the application of solutions to light sensitive paper and then exposing areas of them to light.  Alternative processes allow students to utilize an experimental approach while working in the darkroom

PM Class: Stop Motion Animation  Love Wallace & Grommit?  Then this is the class for you!  Design your own characters from clay and/or found objects and bring them to life using Stop Motion Animation. Students will create a storyline and turn it into a short film using their characters in environments which they will create from magazines, illustrations, patterned paper, found objects and paint.  The stop motion animation will be created by taking a series of consecutive photographs each time they change something in their animation.
