Week 6: Fiber Arts: Sewing, Soft Sculptures, Weaving and Fabric Dying

AM: Weaving, soft sculptures & knitting Explore the creative potential that fiber arts offers!  You will create and embellish a variety of projects such as hand stitched and felted soft sculptures, woven tapestries and crocheted artworks.

PM: Fabric Dying and Batik Painting Discover some of the cool things you can do by dying fabric.  Create a remarkable batik tapestry using wax as a resist.  Learn Ombre painting and fabric dying techniques that will used to create wearable artworks and hanging works of art.

July 16, 17, 18, 19 & 20.  Full Day Art camps run from 9:00am-3:30pm.  Morning classes are 9:00am-12:00pm, lunch from 12:00-12:30, and afternoon classes are from 12:30pm-3:30pm.

Cost:

Full Day Camp: $185 for Members or $260 for Non-Members.

Half Day (Week-long) Classes: $95 for Members or $130 for Non-Members.

Please note: Memberships are valid for one full calendar year.  Need to renew your membership in order to recieve the 40% price reduction rate for members?  Individual Membership is $50, Membership for 2 people $75 and Full Family Membership $100.
