Photography Boot camp: June 28-July 2; 9:30-3:00
Combine science, experimentation and art. Learn the craft of darkroom photography while working with a 35mm camera. Learn about lighting and composition, while shooting, processing your own film and printing your own photographs. You’ll also explore alternative process photography, techniques that utilize the darkroom but no camera. You’ll create your own pinhole cameras that capture an image, create lumen prints and cyanotypes and learn to paint with light while creating chemigrams.
Compose, shoot and edit digital photographs. Every image we see in the media today is created using digital photography and image editing software. Whether you are considering becoming a photographer or are curious about how it all works, this camp will give you a dive into the fundamentals. You will learn how to create stunning digital photographs and enhance imagery in Adobe Photoshop.
