Nature’s Clay Mania: June 29-July 3; 9:30-3:00
Spend your week having fun while working with clay! Learn a variety of hand building skills such as pinch, coil and slab while creating a collection of sculptures and pottery. You’ll also get to try your hand on the pottery wheel while experimenting with balance and form. The inspiration for our week will be the animals and plants found in nature. Projects will include cacti pinch pots, hanging cat tiles, mini dachshund doggie sculptures, fish plates, underwater life towering sculpture, bug and frog sculptures, bear planters, little owl necklaces, little monster “how I feel” sculptures”, peacock holders and toucans.
