Description
Get a head start on Christmas gifting with classic pearl knotting. You’ll learn the traditional method for securing pearls onto silk thread, with stringing materials and a variety of faux pearls provided in class.
Prefer something extra special? Cultured freshwater pearls and demi-fine findings are available as a premium option. Looking for a vegan-friendly alternative? Semi-precious gem beads can stand in for pearls.
**Included in cost: faux/crystal pearls, silk thread, silver-/gold-plated or base metal findings
** For premium materials, please request at least two weeks in advance and include your pearl or gem and metal color preferences with your order. Available for additional cost (must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance): cultured pearls, sterling silver, 14/20 gold-filled, or 14k gold findings. All subject to market cost
**A limited selection of premium upgrades may also be available at class time.
Class Dates: November 3, 10, 17
Classes run Tuesdays 4-6pm. Come prepared with a receipt on hand for check in!
IMPORTANT: Weekday art classes require preregistration at least one day in advance. Classes without sufficient preregistration will not be held. We’d love to have you join us! However, if no students preregister at least one day in advance, same-day and at-the-door registration will not be available.
