Please consider donating to K12 Gallery & TEJAS’s Endowment Fund. K12’s Endowment Fund is a built up sum of planned giving donations that better ensures K12 will continue being a creative space for all in the future. K12 works to be a space of creativity, innovations and learning, as well as being a safe space for students of low income, survivors of violence, youth on probation, adults with disabilities, and others who want access to the healing qualities of the arts.

Another Planned Giving option is a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
The requirements are relatively simple. The charitable distribution must be:
-From a traditional IRA or a Roth IRA
-Direct from the IRA trustee to the charitable organization – with no intervening possession or ownership by the IRA owner.
(It doesn’t count as a tax-free transfer if you withdraw the money first and then donate to the charity.)
-On or after the IRA owner has reached age 70 1/2
-A contribution to an organization that would qualify as a charitable organization under Sec. 170(b)(1)(a), other than a private foundation or donor advised fund.
