3rd-5th Grade Summer Art Camps

Students will work with a variety of materials while creating, learning and having fun!

Camps run Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. Students need to bring an insulated packed lunch each day.

Cost: $165 per week for Members or $275 per week for Non-Members. Includes all materials.

Need to renew your membership or become a member? An individual membership is $50, two people $75 and full family for $100. Memberships are good for a full calendar year and provide a 40% price reduction for all classes.

Before and after care available from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm. Cost: $150 per week for both before & after care, $50 per week for before care only or $100 per week for after care only.

Students are encouraged to align with the camp/class of their rising grade. Parents are required to complete an emergency medical form. Students should wear clothes that can get messy. Full day campers should bring an insulated sack lunch, beverages, and snacks every day. Each week, camps will culminate in a Friday Art Party, where students will share the artwork they have created throughout the week. Friends and family are invited to bring a snack to share and enjoy the artwork from 3:00 – 3:30 pm.

Both morning and afternoon classes will include a 15-minute snack break. K12 Gallery organizes weekly off-site field trips for students on Wednesdays from 11:30-1:30. Students will have the opportunity to explore the Dayton Art Institute, Wegerzyn Gardens, DVAC, local parks and other Dayton landmarks.

Classes are capped at between 12-18 students per class. It is recommended that you register via our website or by phone several weeks prior to the class start date. Once the classes are full, we will remove the ability to register for them on our website. Cancellations: Prior to 14 days before camp, registration fee will be refunded less a $50 processing fee. Less than 14 days before camp, registration is non-refundable.

Interested in applying for a scholarship?  Thanks to the Virginia Kettering Foundation, K12 has some scholarships for students based on merit and financial need.  If you are interested in applying, please fill out the scholarship application and bring your child to one of the two scholarship info sessions: Saturday, May 4 from 1:30-2:30 or Wednesday, May 8 from 5:00-6:00pm.  Students will draw for 30 minutes from a still life so we can gauge their interest/ability level while parents/guardians can ask questions and fill out paperwork.  The Scholarship application can be found here: Summer Scholarship Application 2019

All students will need to have a completed EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORM for the first day of classes.
