K12 & TEJAS provides hands-on art making experiences with a focus on personal creative development. During the school year, on-site classes are the bread-and-butter for K12 Gallery and include K through 2nd Grade, 3rd-5th Grade, 6th-8th Grade, 9th-12th Grade and Adult Saturday Art Classes, Teen Artist-in-Training and Advanced Placement (AP) Studio Art Classes, Homeschool Art Classes, and Summer Art Camps. Ready to have some serious fun at the most creative space in Dayton? These studio classes are designed for students to learn new media and techniques while taking their creativity to the next level. Geared towards students in Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 7-12. Adult classes offered too!
Summer Art
Camps & Classes
Summertime at K12 Gallery is one of our most popular times of year. Art Camps for k-5th grade, 6-8, and 9-12 . Camps run for one week M-F from 9:30am-3:00pm. One-Day Adult classes are offered on fridays in the morning and afternoon.
Artist-in-Training After School
Art Program
The Artist-in-Training Program is an after-school art program for teens in grades 6-9. Students learn foundation level visual art skills while making art with a variety of materials and techniques. Students can opt to attend one day per week, two days, or all sessions. Students are welcome to join at any point in the year. These classes cover drawing and illustration, painting, clay, sculpture and mixed media.
Advanced Placement (AP) Studio Art Program
Advanced Placement (AP) Studio Art Program is a college-level course designed for High School Juniors and Seniors who are seriously interested in art. Students create a portfolio of art that has an opportunity to earn college credit, AP credit, or both, while still in high school.
