HAALO

HAALO (Helping Adolescents Achieve Long-Term Objectives) has been a partnership with the Montgomery County Juvenile Court Program since 2013 and is a project and mural arts program.  It encourages at-risk teens to participate in the creation of artwork and to have a sense of pride in the rejuvenation their artwork brings to the urban landscape around them. Their murals can be found in numerous sites throughout the city including the Wesley Community Center and the Wright Dunbar Historical Building to name a few. Their work culminates in the MCJC art and talent show with the court’s judges in May of each year.

Please consider supporting this essential program by donating your time, supplies or money.  With your help, we can continue to provide this program and together make a difference in the lives of at- risk youth.
