OPEN STUDIOS

TEJAS offers open studio sessions for our painting, pottery, hot glass, mosaics & stained glass, wood & photography studios. Open studios times are the following:

M/W/TH/F: 9:30-6:00

T: 9:30-4:00

SA: 10-2

*Open studio times are subject to change due to class schedule and special workshops. We recommend students with a monthly pass touch base each week to determine studio availability.

A current membership and previous experience are required in order to utilize the open studio and members must be at least 16 years of age. Single day drop in of $20 includes the use of all equipment and tools. A four visit pass can be purchased for $60 and an unlimited monthly pass for $100. Most studios require an additional fee (for clay, glass, darkroom chemicals, etc.).  Please contact Steve Yates at [email protected] schedule a visit or for additional information.

The following studios are available for use:
HOT GLASS: Students must provide their own glass rods. Starter kits are available for purchase. Additional fee: $5 per 3 hours for propanol (gas tank usage).

STAINED GLASS / GLASS MOSAIC: Materials available for purchase. See price list.

POTTERY STUDIO: Students must provide their own materials. Clay and tool kits available for purchase. Additional glazing and firing fee required if bringing your own clay.

PAINTING STUDIO: Students must provide their own materials.

DARKROOM PHOTO STUDIO: Students must provide their own paper. Additional Chemical Processing Fee: $5
