Hot Glass Blowing: March 2, 9, 16, 23, 39; 11:00AM-1:00PM
Due to demand, this class is only available as a 5 class pass.
Immerse yourself in the world of glass blowing in this class open to both beginning and intermediate level students. With the support of our glass blowing instructors, students will learn the tools and techniques involved with glass blowing. Students will learn how to work safely and confidently in the hot shop as you move from solid forms to blown glass. Students will also learn the art of glass bead making. Class capped at 8 students. Class fee includes all materials.
PLEASE BE ADVISED: This is a high intensity class, so we ask that any student signing up for this class please adhere to the following requirements. If a student comes to class without the following bolded items, they will not be permitted to enter the Hot Glass studio:
- Students must wear closed toed shoes
- Students must wear jeans, shorts will not be accepted
- Students must bring water
- A light, long sleeved shirt is not required, but recommended
*Technical issues may occur in the hot glass studio. Supplemental plans will be added as needed.
Students should also wear clothes that can get messy. All classes will include a 15 minute snack break at 12:00PM.
All cellphones, tablets, etc should be stored away during class time. K12 Gallery & TEJAS is not liable for any damage done to personal property.
